The ELPASO project brings together a consortium of scientists that have a large expertise in climate modelling and in the collection and analyses of paleoclimate records. It gathers scientists from well‐known French agencies (CNRS, CEA, IRD, University). The consortium is built on 4 partners: LSCE/IPSL (coord. P. Braconnot, CEA), EPOC‐ISEM (coord. T. Corrège, University), CEREGE (coord. L. Beaufort, CNRS) and LOCEAN/IPSL (coord. B. Turcq, IRD).
